"The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" stars Grammy Award winning singer and actor Will Smith as a kid from a tough West Philadelphia neighborhood sent to live with his wealthy relatives in Bel-Air, California, where he must adjust to a different lifestyle and family. In the series, Will charms, disarms and alarms members of his adoptive uppercrust family with his streetwise ways. Will's Uncle Philip, a successful judge, works to cope with his nephew's shenanigans while Aunt Vivian tries to mediate between the two.Among his cousins, Will finds rivals in preppy Carlton and spoiled would-be brat packer Hilary. And an ally and confidante in teenager Ashley, who lost claim as youngest of the brood with the birth of Nicholas "Nicky" Banks.
